Women who give birth to for-profit hospitals in the state of California have a 17% higher chance in a C-section (cesarean section) than for-profit hospitals, according to a California Watch analysis, a database compiled from state birth records. The authors add, make that a C-field can, much more revenue than a vaginal birth.
